REIMAGINE 2020 I Ontology: Deploying Smart Contracts

Learn how to deploy smart contracts on the Ontology blockchain from Edmond Cong, Ontology’s Senior Tech Lead, Engineering at REIMAGINE 2020

Prior to Edmond’s role at Ontology, Edmond worked on distributed network protocols and distributed storage systems at Cisco and EMC and later moved on to blockchain architecture design, contributing to one of the largest Chinese blockchain consortiums between Union Pay, JD, CMB, and Wanda Group. Edmond also played a key role in the Linux Foundation’s Hyperledger project. Having graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, Edmond also holds a certification in Blockchain Performance Assessment from the China Electronics Standardization Institute.

Ontology is a high-performance public blockchain and distributed collaboration platform. Architected in Asia with global teams, Ontology’s unique infrastructure supports robust cross-chain collaboration, Layer 2 scalability and includes a suite of decentralized identity (DID) and data sharing protocols to enhance the speed, security, and trust that are fundamental to enhanced global cooperation among businesses. These characteristics are particularly important for future global collaboration with on-chain and off-chain scenarios.
